EA Updated Coronavirus Guidance for Restricted Return to Activity

England Athletics has released updated Coronavirus guidance for a ‘restricted return to activity’, which is important for all club members (athletes/coaches/officials/volunteers), plus carers and parents of under 18s, to be aware of- as we plan ways to restart training.

Please readGuidance for Athletes and Runners’ and ‘Guidance for Coaches’- if you are a coach or leader. These will also be posted on the CAC Facebook page. Please note that guidance covers road running and off track training, as well as all track and field activities.

Further information and FAQs can be seen on the main EA website here

There is clearly a lot of work to do, but CAC will be following EA and UKA guidance to produce the risk assessments required and plan safe ways to return to training, while minimising risks as far as possible. Track training and use of facilities will of course be planned and scheduled in close liaison with the Leisure Centre.

We will keep communicating more detailed plans, as and when they are finalised, and we look forward very much to seeing our members in the near future. Stay well and healthy and best wishes to all.
