Mara is the second fastest ever British woman over the marathon, with a PB of 2:23:12 and has represented Great Britain at the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, World Athletics and European Cross Country championships. Amongst her many achievements are a 6^th in the Olympic Marathon in 2008 and a Bronze medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games (10,000m). Plus a huge range of outstanding personal bests, including 5000m: 15:28.58, 5k 15:34, 10000m: 31:49, 10k 31:40, Half Marathon: 68:29, Marathon 2:23:12

 

Arranged by Cornwall Athletic Club, and part funded by Duchy Athletics Network,CAC and England Athletics, this is your chance to hear from one of the best British female endurance athletes of the past two decades.
