Charlotte Cayton-Smith on form in her Indoor races

"Winter training looks to have gone well for Cornwall AC's Under 20 England International 800m runner, Charlotte Cayton Smith, who competed in the Cardiff Grand Prix meeting in February, clocking 2.13.15.

This was followed by a bronze medal in the England Under 20 Indoor Championships in Sheffield at the beginning of March, improving her time to 2.12.29.

Running for England one week later Charlotte won 800m in the international match against Wales, achieving a season's best of 2.11.91

Charlotte is now enjoying a month's warm weather training in sunny Portugal, so expect good things on her return
