Big turnout needed for the final Westward League at Redruth School on Sunday

To All CAC Cross Country Runners                                                                                                              22 February 2015

The 6^th and final  Westward League Match of the winter is at Redruth School on Sunday 1 March 2015.

The course map, race timetable and directions to Redruth are attached.

Number of CAC runners per event:-

Plymouth 49 runners, Newquay 66 runners, Exeter 45 runners, Westward Ho 25 runners, Bovey 29 runners

Another very disappointing turnout from our U13’s, U15’s and U17’s at Westward Ho.  In fact we only had six competitiors.  One reason was no doubt due to the South West Schools Championships in Wiltshire on the previous day.

Team positions after five races:-

Still all is not lost, the final league race is our HOME MATCH at Redruth School on Sunday 1 March 2015.  Remember that the overall individual and team trophies are awarded on your BEST 4 SCORES OVER THE SIX RACES IN THE U13,U15 and U17 AGE GROUPS.

Our main aim must be to return to the Club turnouts we had in the first three matches of the season (see above).  We really need a minimum of THREE runners per team and hopefully more, finishing the season on a strongly.
